So yeah, you can get Fat Tire in Georgia now. You can pick your jaw off the floor and run out and grab some. Diamond has known this for about two weeks, and has chosen to sit on this glorious news. Last week he went to a VIP tasting party at the Nook and sent me pics to taunt me, but I was at the Hawks courtside so I got over it.
There are three kinds of brews available in GA from New Belgium Brewery. A wheat (the Mothership), a black ale (1544) and Fat Tire which is obviously an amber ale. This has been one of my favorite breweries for a long time. Obviously we here at SGT rep Sweetwater til we die and I consider its IPA to be one of the best beers in the world, but its about damn time I can buy some New Belgium when the mood grabs me.
I picked mine up at Whole Foods, but word on the street is most liquor stores and grocery chains have it in stock. They are starting with the 22s, then introducing draft, and finally by the six pack. Check out the ltd label commemorating the GA release. I picked up a few just to hold onto bc I liked the label so much.
All in all it was a good weekend minus not having any sunshine and my fellow SGT Dawg ODB here in town. Here are some slide shows of Friday night at Ambush with the RedBull Moto Demo.
Tomorrow night the SuperGoodTimes crew is rolling up to Ambush for the grand opening of the Red Bull Board Room. Moto demos and and the new Billabong flick “Out of the Pond” will be featured. Then its out on the town to god knows where. Maybe to go check out Big Boi performing at the Sneaker Pimps show at the Tabernacle. When is the last time you saw Big in the A. Been a while.
