Last weekend we headed to Athens for Friday nights Red Bull Chariot Race. A crowd of over 10,000 turned out to check out the homemade chariots of fire racing through the blocked off streets of Downtown Athens. Beer gardens were in place to allow the crowd to enjoy the festivities while legally drinking in the streets. In between the races Red Bull Rider Aaron Colton, who had driven down from Minnesota, set the streets on fire. This kid does things on his bike that had people in the crowd calling their friends and giving a play by play. My favorite part of my shots are of the crowd who are speechless at what this 17 year old kid is doing. Yes, 17. The next day was the Twilight bicycle race through dowtown, where Aaron set it off in front of 30,000 people, including some very confused and not amused professional bike racers. Diamond has the stills below, but I decided to play around with some of the video footage that I shot at the game. Again, this is just me figuring out how to edit and what not, and more for my own amusement than anything. Check it out.
So team SGT rolled out last Friday to the Hawks vs. Pacers game and boy o boy was it dope….courtside tickets and access to the secret Level Bar made for an amazing night. BIG UP to Vince a.k.a Dr. StrangeLove for the dope seats and a very interesting night. Here are a few pix of the evenings WIN and Good Luck to the Hawks in the Playoffs Baby!
There are very few Nike SB dunks that come out that we here at SGT do not buy. A few months ago I pulled my collection out and lined it up because I could not remember all the pairs that I owned. Then I took a quick video with my new Canon 5d II. I am still very rusty at figuring out video editing and what not, but here is a short clip I did yesterday of the shoes if you are interested in seeing the collection. I have purchased about 10 more pairs since this video was made. Diamonds collection is mine times about 10.
The vast majority of the SuperGoodTimes crew went to the first round of the Masters Thursday. Thanks to B Rich who came through in a huge way with badges for everyone. We loaded up the Sexcalade and hammered down to Augusta. It was most of the crews first time, and Augusta National lived up to its billing as one of the most spectacular spectacles in the world.
The efficiency of the way everything was run, the attention to the slightest detail (not a pine cone to be found with acres of pine trees everywhere), the smoothness of getting a beer, the fact that beers are $2 and come with a logo’d plastic cup, no bathroom lines…..the list goes on and on, not to mention the greatest golfers in the world are putting on a display on the most beautiful course in the world. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
The only downside is no pics during tournament play, so here are some from the parking lot.
So my mind got blown again the other day when I rolled too my boy Zach’s studio. See being a boss photographer isn’t enough these days people…you have to diversify your skills and ZW is doing just that. ZW is all about his Canon 5D Mark II and the video that thing produces is fucking cherry sharp. Make sure you guys hit up his site for some dope video and see what’s really HOT is this fucking city. I don’t get too see ZW enought but when I do it’s cool and there is always somthing going on….I think everytime I see him I tell him he needs a “Break” or whatever. FUCK THAT – stay on the grind and get yours PLAYA. Here are just a few shots I took….

ODB and I rolled out to our goooood Buddy ACM’s new house for a “House Warming Party”….no shit it wasn’t 25min before we busted out the .308 Remmington 700 and starting shooting at a Beaver in his pond. See the beavers are fucking his shit up thus they have too go and we were happy to help hunt. We didn’t get that damn beaver but there is always next time. We did have an amazing dinner and it must have been 12 of us there. Andrew and Karen have a beautiful new home in Rome,Ga and around 100+ acres of property. Very peaceful. We drank our asses off and big thanks to BYRD for staying up with me while I did a edit of ODB’s camera footy from his Canon. Below is a video that features the Beaver Hunt and shananagans…. I was the last to sleep and the first to rise so around 7a.m. I walked the property and took some photos so I hope you enjoy them….I’m holding out on some bangers because I’m going to print some and give to ACM and Karen for there new home – They need some wall love.

So my boy Jeremy a.k.a. “JSteeze” hit me up for some pool and beers at his local joint called “Jimmy Macs”. I was blown away as I had been to this same bar over 10 years ago ,but can’t remember what it used to be called. Jimmy Mac’s is your neighborhood get lit and play pool all night kinda place….so nice. Me JSteeze and his ol’ lady HLove got wicked drunk off $2 shots and a ton of beer. I had a few good games of pool but got my ass handed to me by a few “Hustlers”. All in all Jimmy Mac’s is a great place and everyone that worked there were really nice and I will be back soon….
Oh and the best part is JSteeze meet up with me wearing a Church league softball jersey and Beer Glass PJ’s…..now that’s an outfit.
Real quick – Rhett killed it last night at SuarHill and walked away with some cash and mad respect. It was more like a war than battle and RW stood the Victor.
